Windows into worlds

Windows Into Worlds is a collection inspired by houses promoting fluidity and function created by Mexican organic architect Javier Senosiain. The garments in this collection are designed to be interchangeable with a hidden ability to shape shift into other looks. Interchangeable clothing promotes a sustainable lifestyle by giving a garment multiple forms to increase its lifetime and help minimize people's wardrobes. Another sustainable practice is repurposing dead stock and recycled materials to be used in 50% of the collection, this includes all denim, leather, and lace.

A constant element seen in Senosiain's work is curved hallways and windows that frame different worlds. To capture these elements many techniques were developed. First, couture textiles reflecting extraordinary stained glass walls and mosaic ceilings. As well as, sculptural pattern making used to recreate unique shapes built into the house. Lastly, fabric manipulations created to resemble the built-in appliances and furniture. Windows Into Worlds connects fashion with function in a cohesive and extravagant collection.
