Metamorphosis
Moody Metamorphosis is a collection inspired by two lives colliding. During 2020 I moved from New York City back to my home town in Northern California. My city and mountain lives were colliding. Old clothing from these two worlds were used as fabric. The garments in the collection are designed with hidden abilities to transform into different garments allowing the clothes to be worn in the city or the suburbs.
Newspaper Textile
During the pandemic there was a pile up of untouched newspapers at my house. I created a curved woven textile with the newspapers and then covered them in vinyl. This preserved the paper as well as making it durable and waterproof.
Zero WAste ACCESSORIES
Purses and bucket hats made from newspaper textile and left over scraps.
Zero WASTE jewelry
Unused bobbin thread casted in resin to make earrings and rings.
